9 Last Minute, Simple & Thrifty Christmas Ornaments
Hi everyone! How’s your Christmas season going? I’m plugging away here in the cold, cold Northeast. Yesterday, I shipped three Christmas packages to out-of-town family that the post office promised would arrive before Christmas–yay!!. I shopped for stocking stuffers using a great “Plenti” coupon, and I also attempted some baking. Unfortunately, while trying to make both fudge and caramel shortbread at the same time, I mixed up some ingredients–lol. Silver lining: I ended up with a jar of yummy, homemade caramel sauce. Because of my mistakes, I didn’t have enough ingredients to finish either recipe, so a trip to the grocery store ensued. I also made a few Christmas ornaments just because I could, not because I needed merchandise for a craft fair (mine’s over). So, today, I’ve collected nine of my past and present ornaments together in one post for anyone looking for a quick project, whether to decorate your own tree or to give as a gift. Here they are:

Oh my gosh they’re all so cute! I think my favorite is the trees! We were -27 below with wind chill yesterday (-17 temp). Today a balmy 15. Can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! Hope yours is a great one. XoKathleen
Thanks Kathleen! Wow, you’ve certainly got us beat in the freezing temps department. Glad you’re having a mini “heat wave!” Happy, Happy Christmas to you and your beautiful family 🙂
I’m going to have to check out those toilet paper roll ornaments. I have a huge collection of toilet paper rolls.
Ha ha! Use them up, Florence 🙂 Hope your holidays are blessed!
Such a cute collection…you are very creative, Diana! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!
Diana, I love them all…but especially love the stars and the mini wreaths!
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and 2017!
Hugs, Kimberley

Merry Christmas—love your ideas, and of course the mini-wreaths are the bomb! Sandi
Such darling ornaments Diana! Wishing you all the love, joy and peace of season as well as a very Happy New Year!
There are some cute ideas here. My favorite is the little wreath on jute. I will need to give it a try for next year. Merry Christmas.
They are all super cute! My favorites are the mini wreaths and the birdhouses. Thanks for sharing them with SYC.
hugs,
