What’s Selling in Vintage & Antiques [February 2019]
Hi there! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. My sweet daughter is home for spring break–always a fun and excting time. Sweet husband and I brought new merch to my antique booth at the Gristmill Antique Center in Troy (NY) on Friday and popped into the Habitat Restore and Goodwill on Saturday morning. Slim pickins but I manage to pick up a few items.
Today, of course, I’m sharing what’s selling in vintage and antiques in my neck of the woods. You can find past blog posts on the topic here: January 2019 vintage sales, December 2018 vintage sales, and November 2018 vintage sales.

It’s always interesting to see what sells just over the border (I’m in CT). I have a number of nice vintage bowls including a Rockingham glazed one that I can’t sell for the life of me. Maybe I should do a show in NY! Otherwise my booth sales have been pretty good for this time of year.
Hello, I was just at a large flea market here in Southern California and small beaten up sewing machines drawers were selling for $20-$30 dollars each! I saw their selling much cheaper in your area. Always fun to see the pricing in different areas. Thanks for sharing.
Diana, I don’t remember seeing Media Vine ads on your list before. What is that ? I do not see any ads on this page.
Thank you for sharing your information I appreciate your blog ! Have a blessed day !
I loved the picture of your (grand?) mother’s quilt. Colors are restful but cheerful. Glad you had a good month. I have done a bit better this month–almost prepaid part of next month’s rent, then said to myself, “Nah.” Treated myself to a tiny red (almost amberina) rabbit on a nest that caught my eye last time I went to spruce up my booth. And a piece of milk glass (act surprised here!).
I’m amazed at the number of books you sell! I find books to be very slow movers for me.
Hi Diana,
I always enjoy reading your monthly sales posts. I certainly appreciate the fact that you share both your buying and selling information. I noticed that you sell on ebay rather than etsy now. What made you decide to switch? I am selling more on etsy and Facebook now and I closed my antique booth last year. My store relocated and the customers just didn’t follow. Thanks for the great post.
