Vintage Blog Shop Mess

[UPDATE] Well the problem has turned out to be rather simple. For whatever reason, all of the messages via both of my contact forms (one in my Vintage Shop and another on my side bar), have been going straight to spam–not very helpful when you’re trying to run a business! Unfortunately, I was only able to recover messages from the month of April. So, if you messaged me with a question or about an order in February or March, and you did not hear back from me, please send me another message using either form–side bar or Vintage Shop. Hi everyone! I learned something upsetting yesterday. Apparently, readers have been attempting to place orders from my Vintage Shop, but I have not been receiving them. Sigh. Some days life just seems to wear me down, not too often, but every now and again.

For some reason, the contact form I use in the shop has not been sending me notifications of orders. This happened once before (last year), and I fixed the problem, but apparently my system has “broken” again. I feel just terrible about anyone who has tried to order and then heard nothing back from me. Nada. Not a peep. You must have thought I lost my mind. Who doesn’t respond to orders for one’s merchandise?!!

So, this is the deal. I’d love to talk with every single one of you who placed an order, whether by phone or by email. Everyone will get 20% off their order through the month of April and for the entire month of May as well, until this whole thing is sorted out.

Not having received one single order since February 12th, I began to feel rather sorry for myself. I thought you stopped liking my finds. I thought you no longer wanted to buy my vintage goods. I was quite sad, but quietly hoped things would change. Little did I know my own software was causing the problem!

So I hope you will find it in your hearts to forgive me and that anyone who wants to order products from my shop will contact me via email at adirondackgirlatheart@gmail.com. When this happened last year, you guys were all so great; you are a kind, compassionate bunch and I appreciate you all so much!
