Announcing a New Antique & Vintage Canning Jar Price Guide

I hope you had a great weekend. On Friday I met up with my sweet friend Nancy for breakfast at Starbucks in Troy (NY), and then we made a quick stop at one of our favorite thrift stores, the ERC Community Warehouse.

I found a couple of good buys and then we had to split up. (I promise I’ll show you what I bought, hopefully later this week.) It was SO good to spend time with my girlfriend–gabbing and eating and shopping–nothing better!

Friendship isn’t about who you’ve known the longest,
but about who came and never left your side.

From there, I drove out to my booth at the Gristmill Antique Center to add new merchandise and rearrange some displays. Then on Saturday my sweet husband and I drove to New Lebanon (NY) and took a walking tour of Mount Lebanon Shaker Village. (You know I have a small obsession with the Shakers, right?)

While currently closed to the public, its grounds were open and I had the chance to take some photographs of the amazing architecture, which I’ll also share soon.

Sunday, as always, we spent with our church family at Light of the World Christian Church (Latham, NY). Today, however, I’m announcing another new price guide; this one is all about canning jars.

We all love having a few old aqua jars on hand, don’t we? Nothing looks sweeter than a canning jar bursting with wildflowers. Some of the jars are worth a bit more than others and I hope my guide will provide you some useful information.

  1. Hi Diana,
Thank you for sharing this with Thursday Favorite Things. It will be pinned and messaged to my friend. She started a cute little vintage Etsy shop over the Christmas holiday and will find this handy.

Do you know about pricing things? She asked me a few questions but selling wares is not my area of expertise. If you are handy with this stuff, would it be okay to mention you?

    Thanks, Diana.

    Have a wonderful day!

P.S I’m probably not going to see your reply. You know how that goes on blog commenting. If you have the time, I’m always checking messages on FB, IG, and my email– reinvented.co(at)gmail(dot)com
