Vintage Charm Feature of the Year: Redo It Yourself Inspirations
Hello, Friends!
We’re So Excited to Announce Our…
~ Feature of the Year ~
Congratulations
Robin @ Redo It Yourself Inspirations
Your Horse Carriage Bench Seat Makeover is a winner!
Robin’s perseverance in recreating her dream of an antique carriage bench is a true DIY success story. After winning a bench that wasn’t quite what she’d envisioned at an auction, she decided to weather it herself…literally! Yep, resourceful girl that she is, Robin left that baby out in the rain and snow until the paint flaked and the wood slightly separated. Be sure to drop by to see the rest of the clever process she used to transform her horse carriage bench seat and congratulate her on winning Feature of the Year!
Here’s a peek at the bench, before Robin transformed it.
Robin is one talented blogger who describes herself as a DIY fanatic, design enthusiast, and fleamarket flipper–a winning combination and she is oh-so-creative, too.

That is a really wonderful project! She is a talented lady! Thank you for including my tour, too!
She did a great job, didn’t she? You’re so welcome Linda–I absolutely loved your home tour!
Thank you so very much for the honor and prizes, Diana! I opened emails today and saw each of you with my name in the heading and my heart beated several times faster! It was as though I won the lottery! I took a photo of the emails together and texted them to my husband with instructions to pinch me when he got home. I can’t thank you enough for this honor. Just as I was ready to give up, you ladies have built me up. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Great choice ladies! I remember that feature well, and it’s one of my fave projects ever done by another blogger. Robin did an amazing job!
Wow, that is a beautiful carriage seat. The wood is gorgeous.
