Lay your matzah or saltines on a foil-wrapped, greased 15 x 11″ pan.
Boil the butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes, then spread over the crackers with a spatula.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the toffee, let melt (or pop back in the oven for a minute or so) and spread.
Let cool on the counter, then refrigerate until hard and break into manageable pieces. Try not to eat it all in one sitting!!
