Hi everyone! I wanted a new wreath for the front door, one that would really stand out for the summer. I think a pretty wreath creates a welcoming atmosphere for anyone who comes to our door.
The grapevine wreath was a wonderful dollar find at a garage sale, and it turned out to be the perfect size for this project. And it’s quite well made, so it will be around for the long term.
The two lilac stems came from a separate garage sale for the same price, just one dollar. The pinky-purpley color matches the flowers I have growing in my urns, which sit to either side of my front steps. I attached them to the wreath using a hot glue gun.
You may remember back in March I made some mossy spring monograms. Well, it turns out, it was just door perfect for this wreath, and I hung it with a piece of jute. I “stole” the burlap bow from my fall wreath(!).
