Last week, we talked about the idea that in writing psalms, David had discovered a way to encourage himself during times when he found himself afraid or upset or angry. In setting aside time to write his thoughts and prayers, he had discovered a way to wrestle with his questions and his unbelief. He found an avenue that would lead him to a place of understanding and trust.
I provided a few writing prompts that we modern day God-followers could use to craft a personal psalm, and I promised to share mine with you. Here it is:
